Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu was founded durring the late 14th century in spring of the year 1354, by Ymviesh vyim Roxlendtems. The establishment of Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu is is constructed arround a series of narrow packed earth mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Even with that as it is, everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or much of both. The town should be gone, not dying. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable.

Points of Interest

While private tutelage of worthy apprentices can be had even in most remote villages, Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu is home to a proper school dedicated to teaching magic. Such schools are usually small, with no more than a few dozen pupils, most of whom will fail for lack of talent or discipline. The instructors are rarely first-rate, usually serving only for the pay and status, but sometimes a genius sorcerer will find a reason to observe likely apprentices here. Given the unfortunate accident potential of the school, it’s probably isolated or well-fortified.

Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu's roads were poorly made when first laid. Rather than repairing them correctly, a series of new roads was laid atop the old, leading to the streets of modern Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu suffering from potholes, cracking, and even sinkholes. The locals often repair the road by putting down wooden decking.

POI

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu lost 283 people, 180 livestock, and 46 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 30, when members of Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu's militia enacted an operation to deliver supplies to a specific group of civilians. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the fortification, which ended in victory for Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Kogtu-æ̈ptï Rudnoplu's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
